My husband and I had the amazing opportunity to check French Polynesia off of our bucket list.  This exotic destination exudes romance, luxury, and relaxation at its finest.  On our trip we visited Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea and I can say that one island was more beautiful than the next.

While the vast majority of this trip was spent lounging - I did have the opportunity to swim with dolphins in Moorea - and to swim with sharks and rays while in Bora Bora.  The later was terrifying -- but in a good way.  

In Bora Bora we stayed in one of the iconic over water bungalow that this destination is known for.  To say this was an incredible experience would be the understatement of the century.  Staying in a gorgeous luxurious bungalow, surrounded by nothing but the sights and smells of the ocean is definitely one of my top travel experiences.  Ever.  We spent our time swimming in the ocean  - jumping right in from our bungalow.  We ate breakfast on our veranda each day  -- in fact - we rarely left the immediate area!

This was truly an incredible vacation - and a time my husband and I will remember forever.
