Exploring Thailand with Aleenta Hotels

If you have been following along with me on social media, you have seen my many stories and posts about my recent travels to Thailand - my first time in this wonderful country! For almost two weeks, I ventured around to four cities to experience this incredible place and take in all it has to offer. Throughout most of the trip, I stayed with Aleenta Resorts & Spas, a boutique luxury brand that focuses on an intimate, private experience celebrating wellness, dining, and an overall sense of “barefoot luxury.” As a part of Independently Yours, these properties offer unique and very special experiences when exploring throughout Thailand - and come with special attention and perks when you book with me. Take a look at 3 of their properties I personally experienced - each with its own charm and appeal. Want to plan a Thailand adventure? Reach out!

Aleenta Phuket

After a few days exploring Bangkok, I flew to Phuket and spent time at Aleenta Phuket Phang Nga Resort & Spa - a five-star property right on the beach. This private, secluded getaway offers suites and villas - all with private pool or swim-up access. With an emphasis on wellness, I enjoyed an incredible spa experience and onsite yoga classes. I also got a sneak peek of the new SEASONS Restaurant - a completely plant-based menu that opens in a few weeks. One morning I also enjoyed a “floating breakfast” in my private pool which is a lovely way to start the day - and a perfect moment for Instagram :) Whether you are going to relax, enjoy some time reconnecting on your wellness journey, or explore all that Phuket offers, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Aleenta Chiang Mai

From Phuket, I flew to Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai which is a brand new property opening this April. As one of the first guests to ever stay, I was able to get a very personalized experience with the owner of the brand and the entire team at the hotel. This property really emphasized everything the brand embodies - with luxury, private accommodations, and incredible culinary offerings while still maintaining a sense of overall peace and wellness. Highlights included a beautiful reflection pool and courtyard, an upstairs tea room and piano bar, a library and art gallery in reclaimed golden teak wood period structures, and a peaceful spa area. The hotel is located close to the town and many temples you can visit - or the hotel can arrange other area activities. I know this will be an incredible addition to the brand and quickly become a favorite of travelers in the area.

Aleenta Hua Hin

I won’t use the phrase “save the best for last,” because I truly loved my experience at all three Aleenta properties but there was something so special about the Hua Hin property. While this may not be a destination many American tourists visit on its own, it is the perfect conclusion to relax after exploring other parts of Thailand. This hotel epitomizes the barefoot luxury beach house where no two rooms are the same - with plenty of space to relax and unwind. I began each day with an incredible sunrise and then a bike ride along the beach. Afterward, I gave alms to local monks as they walked by and visited the onsite bakery. The rest of the day can be spent at the beach club or exploring the area around - including Phraya Nakhon Cave which I hiked to one today for a unique and wonderful site.
