Custom Itineraries

My role is to make every journey I plan magical. When you work with me, you’ll find I tune in and listen carefully to your dreams. That allows me to craft a voyage that reflects your personal style and interests.

Behind the scenes, part of the magic comes from making sure that the logistics make sense. Often people want to cram too much into too little time. Walking through the day-by-day itinerary makes it easy to see where you want to spend more time. Getting the geography and travel connections right is also crucial. It takes experience and expertise to pull everything together in a way that makes sense.

One client had always wanted to go to Morocco. His son-in-law planned a trip to Spain for the two of them. Remembering that Morocco was on his wish list and knowing how close that Morocco is to Spain, I suggested that he take the opportunity to combine the two. He agreed.

He started out in Casablanca, and then, because he is a nature lover and adventurous, I suggested in stay in a tented camp in the Sahara, the Golden Sand Camp Merzouga. There he got to ride a camel through the desert. Since he also loves to hike, I included a stay at Sir Richard Branson’s Moroccan hideaway, the Kasbah Tamadot, located in the Atlas Mountains near Marrakesh. It is very lush and green and you can trek through the mountains and stop at a local Berber home for tea. And there’s nothing like Marrakesh, especially when you stay at La Mamounia. It was a true trip of a lifetime and he was thrilled.

Sometimes though, my job is to suggest my clients do less, not more. For example, one of my regular clients was attending his daughter’s wedding in Majorca and he kept thinking of more things he wanted to see and do while he was in Spain. The problem was that he couldn’t afford to take more than a few days after the wedding. In addition to Madrid, his wish list included wineries and historic cities all over Spain. He would have been living out of a suitcase and spending all his time traveling. Happily, I was able to create an itinerary that combined all the experiences he wanted, but in more contained geographical area.
