The Tzell & Protravel Foundation was formed in 2012 for the purpose of providing funds, support and assistance to the many victims of Hurricane Sandy. Since then the foundation has continued to focus on assisting others in need.

Every year, Protravel branches nationwide Protravel participates in the Travel Leaders’ Day of Giving. Our Madison Avenue headquarters has partnered with the Common Pantry New York to give back to New Yorkers in need. Participants across the country also volunteer their time and contribute monetary donations.
For over 30 years, Protravel International has been spreading holiday cheer to more than 400 children at the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Phillips Ambulatory Care Center in NYC in collaboration with CBTF and our travel industry partners. The holiday party offers games, arts and crafts, food and beverages, costumes, toys and presents for the children.
Protravel has raised over $170,000 for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides against Breast Cancer. Every year, our New York City-based employees walk in Central Park and Staten Island to raise funds to cure breast cancer
Protravel agents and employees rolled up their sleeves this year to help clean, organize, and cook for children and their families at Ronald McDonald House in New York. The Ronald McDonald House serves children undergoing cancer treatment at a local hospital. The Ronald McDonald House of New York relies on volunteers to enhance its services and programs as well as to have a positive impact on the children and their families.
Protravel International is a proud partner of Maria Shriver’s March on Alzheimer’s. Protravel donated a special giveaway prize last year for the top individual fundraiser for the march.
Protravel International distributed needed supplies in the Philippines for victims of the Haiyan Typhoon in 2014, one of the deadliest ever recorded. One of Protravel’s agents, born in the Philippines, initiated agency-wide efforts to collect supplies to send to those in need.
