National Trust for Historic Preservation - Wyoming's Wonders & Wildlife

The historic sites in Jackson, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, spectacular wildlife and a unique safari in northwestern Wyoming make this an unconventional Study Tour. Joan Grever, a member of the Teton County Historic Preservation Board, and Tom Segerstrom, senior biologist and director of the Great Plains Wildlife Institute, will be among those to escort us through this majestic region. Significant sites, including Menors Ferry, the Moulton Barns and the National Elk Refuge are included among the many wooden wonders we will visit. Our venture will include a private tour of the Jackson Hole Historical Society Museum and an exclusive dinner banquet at the famed National Museum of Wildlife Art.

A two-day Yellowstone wildlife safari focuses on the black and grizzly bears, as well as the highly publicized reintroduction of the gray wolf. Enjoy the opportunity to view soaring eagles, herds of buffalo, multicolored pools, veiled falls and the awe inspiring geyser fields that make Yellowstone unique.
