Priscilla founded PROTRAVEL INTERNATIONAL Inc. in 1984. A simple plan to sell travel with skill and integrity became a business that thrived into a company that ranks among the top 20 agencies nationwide. Besides being actively engaged on a daily basis, Priscilla is a high profile leader in the industry and today sits on many prestigious travel advisory boards. She was honored with the distinction of being the cover story of the April 2005 issue of Luxury Travel Advisor. In 2004 she was awarded the TOP TRAVEL PROFESSIONAL by Luxury Expo, the country’s top travel industry forum. Travel & Leisure magazine dubbed her an “UBER AGENT” and Modern Bride named Priscilla as one of the country’s 25 TREND SETTERS. In 2009, she was awarded Travel Weekly’s prestigious LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in recognition of her longtime role as a travel industry leader.
Tony joined PROTRAVEL in 1990 and has actively participated in the growth and development of the company. Most significantly, he guided Protravel through the burgeoning years of early technology, always keeping pace with new developments while attending to daily operations. Today he is mostly focused on corporate sales, which represents 70% of the business. Agents value Tony for the ease with which he handles customer relations. Tony is a member of CAC, a by-invitation-only -committee of ASTA that represents the leading corporate travel companies in the country.
Tova joined PROTRAVEL in 2001 after a 20 year career as a Senior VP in International Private Banking. She currently oversees the finances of Protravel which approaches annual sales of over $800 million. Her expertise has resulted in streamlining many internal processes and her organizational skills have led to greater integration of the back and front office data, markedly increasing efficiency. Most recently she was instrumental in the development and implementation of Global Matrix, PROTRAVEL’S cutting edge mid-management back office system.
After building and selling his own prestigious New York City agency, Andy joined Protravel in 1998 for a new challenge. Today he oversees our continually growing leisure sales and marketing segment. He coordinates our supplier relations to negotiate the best terms with industry partners such as cruise lines, tour operators and hotels. As the “go to” person, much of Andy’s time is devoted to assisting PROTRAVEL agents in getting the best products and amenities for their clients. He also serves on many prestigious travel industry advisory boards.
Peter gained his skills working his way up in corporate sales. Since 1998 he has negotiated and managed many aspects of PROTRAVEL’s airline programs, including industry relationships, airline negotiations and corporate programs. He oversees a team of five airline experts responsible for quality control, rates, cost containment and adherence to corporate contractual parameters. His computer skills are as sharp as the agents who rely on his advice and counsel.
Mickey joined PROTRAVEL in 2005 after building a fine reputation for integrity with clients and suppliers. He is located on the West coast, but stands ready to help Protravel agents throughout the country as goodwill ambassador or troubleshooter. He ably represents Protravel on various influential travel advisory boards, with an emphasis on entertainment and leisure sales.
Michele joined PROTRAVEL in 1985 as an assistant clerk. Her responsibilities grew as the company itself expanded. Today she oversees many administrative functions, chief among them financial services as they relate to compensation and payroll. Her team relies on her knowledge of the company and her razor sharp analytic skills, making her an indispensable member of Protravel.
Alan manages the accounting department for PROTRAVEL overseeing daily operations and coordinating branches into a central accounting department in corporate headquarters. With a department of twenty, Alan has successfully embraced Protravel’s automation to reduce costs, increase efficiency and provide intelligent information.
Lou’s raw enthusiasm for integrating technology with travel is infectious, and he has implemented a number of key initiatives to manage our robust growth effectively. With a team of ten IT technicians, analysts and trainers, he has streamlined the network and introduced new communication products. After successfully upgrading the neworking, security and phone systems at all Protravel locations, Lou and his staff continue to streamline our integrated networks and implement massive automation projects for all of the systems our Travel Consultants use daily.
